Biography
Jianli Wang, Ph.D. in Engineering, is a Professor and Master’s/Doctoral Supervisor at Southeast University. He currently serves as a Council Member of the China Micro/Nano Measurement and Instrumentation Branch, a Member of the Thermophysical Properties Committee of the Chinese Society for Measurement, a Member of the Marine Power Branch of the Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, a Member of the Youth Committee of the Shanghai Thermophysical Properties Big Data Service Center, and a Young Editorial Board Member of Acta Metrologica Sinica. He received the First Prize for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Tsinghua University (2010) and the Nomination Award for the National Top 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertations (2014). Students under his supervision have received honors including the First Prize for Outstanding Graduate Theses of Southeast University (2 awards), the Second Prize for Outstanding Papers of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, and the National Scholarship for Graduate Students at Southeast University (3 recipients). He has published more than 90 SCI papers, which have been cited more than 2,000 times by others, contributed 1 chapter to an international academic monograph, and holds 6 granted invention patents. He has led 4 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China as well as multiple university–industry collaboration projects.
